have you thought of organising gigs at the wintergardens at all?
cos it was realy dissapointing at the west marsh when hardly anyone turned up and those who did seemed to dissapear half way through. altho it was great that they did come.
but with the wintergardens all these amazing bands that keep playing at the westmarsh will get the crowd numbers they deserve and the majority of young peeps will be able to get a taste of other great music and bands.

yer, it would be DEAD expensive...and i dont think they'd let DIY style gigs be held there...eg security, health and safety...etc
but we have the matrix club gigs to look forward to
i think the west marsh is starting to lose its apeal

i think west marsh is good, i like the *vibe*..the only problem is hardly anyone seems to know about the gigs there (i'm not saying i could do any better before 'gig people' start bitching).
what about the spiders - they must be getting sick of tom ritchie's monthly "3am night" anyways!!

hey dudes.. i dont think the west marsh is losing its appeal at all... its a fuckin ace venue...
i believe that the only reason no one came last saturday was because of the redlightsflash gig on the same night, and also, i think the west marsh just seems to work better on a friday night....
and we had meen putting on gigs there every week previous to the steel rules die show, so maybe that also affected it.
i think eveyone should go to the gig a week on friday.... and i also think the turnout will be good.... theres some of the best UK bands playing that gig... and all the money is going to a good cause...
if you co to the gig, you can see the Van that the money is going towards... and trust me... its seen its days, and gunna cozt over ?800 to get it back on the road.
so do your bit for the UK scene, positive outlook records, and the bands that use the van....
heres a flyer for the gig:
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PRINT THEM OFF AND GIVE THEM TO YOUR FRIENDS..

Cheers People

Thats true what Mark said...things need to be planned to take into consideration what else is going on at the time...there were 2 other gigs on that night...one was at the Spiders...and Olde Musician was packed...apparently...I wouldnt know...cos I wasnt there.
